A Haight Street pedestrian was critically injured by a driver this morning, in a collision police say was a hit-and-run.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a 30-year-old male pedestrian was crossing the street at Haight Street and Masonic Avenue at 12:45 this morning, when a the driver of a "black older model Lincoln Town Car" struck him.
The driver, who had been traveling east on Haight at the time of the collision, kept on driving in that direction even after he or she struck the man, police say, and remains at large.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the hit-and-run, police say. He was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition this morning.
