Phish-heads all know this already, but Phish is back in town!! They're playing three back-to-back shows at Bill Graham tonight, tomorrow, and Wednesday, and the hardcore fans will of course be going to all three. The band performed Saturday night up in Washington State and arrived in town Sunday, and frontman Trey Anastasio headed out to wander the streets of SF on his day off.
At an unknown intersection in what appears to be Chinatown, he decided to sit down and jam with these three musicians playing traditional Chinese music, showing off how he could play the ruan (Chinese lute) with the best of them. "I met some new friends in San Francisco on the day off!" Anastasio wrote on Facebook.
Notably, Phish last played a series of shows at Bill Graham in 2014 during the World Series.
