On Wedesday nights this summer, Presidio Social Club executive chef Wes Shaw becomes pit master Wes Shaw and the patio at his restaurant becomes a beer garden from Fort Point Beer Co.
The partnership between the 2006-founded Presidio restaurant and the Presidio-based brewery is a natural fit (although as we've highlighted in the recent past the cocktail program at PSC has gotten next level good recently). Also, if you needed further endorsement, CNN is already calling it one of the 9 Best Beer Gardens in America.
Nota bene: San Francisco summers being what they are, you may need several pints and more than a few helpings of smoked meat to keep warm. I, for one, am ready, willing, and able. First up on the BBQ menu: smoked beef ribs, BBQ Sloppy Joes, smoked sausages, cole slaw, and potato salad.
The Presidio Social Club Fort Point Beer Garden runs from July 13 to August 31, starting at 3 p.m. and lasting to 7 p.m. Call that a serious cold-weather curfew.
