A man who was struggling with pain while waiting for Muni suffered an additional blow yesterday, when his soothing medication was wrested from his grasp.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a 60-year-old man was waiting for the bus at Geary and Larkin Streets at 3:48 Monday afternoon when the snatching occurred.
The man was "in the process of taking his pain meds," which police specify were Oxycodone pills, when a man in his 30s "wrestled the bottle of meds from" his hands.
The pill purloiner then ran north on Larkin, police say, and has not been seen since.
