Omgggggggg

Get ready to literally devour your favorite Sanrio character at the Hello Kitty Cafe food truck, which is coming back to San Francisco at long last to fill that little bow-shaped hole in our hearts we worried would remain forever empty.

The occasion is Japantown’s Cherry Blossom Festival, where just as last year, the truck will be parked at Post and Webster on April 9th, 10th, and 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. True devotees are encouraged to line up immediately.

For those not yet obsessed, the Hello Kitty Cafe truck is a licensed dealer of branded sweets like macarons, cookies, and cakes, all crafted in the image of Hello Kitty, whose closest analog in the US is Mickey Mouse. More than a brand, Hello Kitty is a way of life, a noble path many have chosen.

The Hello Kitty Cafe truck roams far and wide, bringing joy to all the good boys and girls (and adult men and women) who encounter it. Meanwhile, a brick-and-mortar Hello Kitty cafe is planned for Irvine according to the LA Times, adding a sense of permanence and purpose to our sometimes senseless lives.
