A pretty sizable, 30-foot tree fell down this morning at Sacramento and Arguello streets in Presidio Heights, narrowly missing both a Muni bus and a woman waiting at a red light in her car, as the Examiner reports. This happened between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Friday, and no one was injured, though the fallen tree caused some minor damage to the bus, per the Chron, which was on the 33 line.
The street tree appears to have been uprooted by its own weight, or perhaps the sodden ground played a role as well.
Below, some video from the scene.
