Back when the Golden State Warriors' coach Steve Kerr was playing ball instead of coaching it, he had a 45.4 percent success rate with 3-point shots (an NBA record that stands to this day). It's nice to see that even after a recent back surgery that's had worrisome trouble healing, he hasn't lost his touch, sinking an underhand half-court shot while on the court with his team before they completely decimated the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-98 Monday night.
This still-recovering Kerr has said that he hopes to return to work full-time (assistant coach Luke Walton has been running the show in his stead) at some point this season, saying in December that "I don't know exactly when, but I think I will be back coaching again this season." Seeing how good Kerr's near-granny shot looked Monday, why not?
