In honor of Christmas after this odd and violent year we've had, an outfit that calls themselves Generic Male DJs has put out a mixtape of almost two dozen rare examples of Christmas music recorded in the 80's by various New Wave acts, much of which you probably have never heard because it likely got recorded for some obscure compilation that never even made it to the CD age. You've got Dead or Alive (Pete Burns) doing "Blue Christmas," Erasure's "She Won't Be Home for Christmas," Throwing Muses' "Santa Claus," and Book of Love doing "We Three Kings," among other gems.
Here's the full track list. It's kind of awesome.
