Two men who live-streamed their attempt to hunt down a man have been arrested after cops caught wind of the video.
Carlos Gonzalez and Damon Batson of Sacramento were driving to the Midtown neighborhood on Wednesday night, reportedly to track down a man that might have been with one of their girlfriends, and streamed the entire affair on the app Periscope. The hour-long broadcast showed the two of them driving around with a loaded gun and smoking weed. According to CBS 13, Gonzalez fires the gun into the air after being asked to prove the gun is real by viewers. During the whole broadcast, viewers egged on Gonzalez and Batson with comments and hearts.
"If I didn't think I would get in trouble with the law, nā I would Periscope everything," Gonzalez says at one point in the video.
When the two arrive at the apartment of their target, no one appears to be home. One of the men even climbs on to a second-story ledge in order to peek in through a window.
The video was reported to Sacramento police the next day, and police arrested the two on Thursday night. According to FOX 40, the gun from the video was allegedly found in Batson's car at the time of his arrest.
Both men are facing several charges.
