We've seen photos and videos plenty of times, but it'll never cease to amaze us how bad the drought in California is.
The California Department of Water Resources released a video on Thursday that shows how hard hit three Northern California reservoirs are from the dry conditions. Folsom Lake is the hardest hit, filled only at 34% capacity. You can see waterlines dozens of feet below previous levels, and dry docks practically sitting on mud.
Thankfully, climatologists say this winter we'll experience a "Godzilla" El Niño. That'll offer us a little relief.
