In their weekly newsletter for San Francisco this week (and possibly other cities), Yelp decided to make light of the Greek financial crisis which the New York Times today explains is far worse than our Great Depression was, and will take far longer to bounce back from by promoting local Greek restaurants. As you see above, it all begins with a big photo of the moussaka at Kokkari.
"Brother can you spare a gyro?" Really?
The world is littered with unfortunate copy choices, but in a week when we're hearing about actually very serious stuff in Greece, perhaps Yelp's editorial team could have done better than, "Here's a smattering of aegean [sic] eats to bail you out of your hunger."
