See and be seen at these select San Francisco shows, parties, and events. You know, because you can't read the Internet all the time.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5

POINT BREAK LIVE!: Honored with a City Proclamation from Mayor Gavin Newsom in 2008, Point Break Live! is a spoof of the 1991 blockbuster classic starring Patrick Swayze as Bodhi, the Zen-surfing leader of a gang of bank robbing adrenaline junkies called the Ex-Presidents, and Keanu Reeves as Johnny Utah, an ex-college football star turned undercover FBI Agent. This is the only "remake" you'll need, and there's just one show this month at DNA Lounge, so get over there. 375 11th Street, 6:30 p.m., $20-50

FIRST FRIDAY OFFSHOOT: Voted “Best Art Murmur Offshoot” in the East Bay Express Readers’ Poll, Temescal First Friday coincides with Oakland's Art Murmur. SILENT BEACH DISCO: SunsetSF and SilentFrisco have become Hush Concerts and they're handing out headphones and getting you to dance on the sand at Ocean Beach this weekend. It might be cold, so keep moving your feet. Ocean Beach, 11 a.m., $25

SUNDAY, JUNE 7

STRFKR POOL PARTY: Again, this weekend won't be too hot by any means, but an L.A. pool party aesthetic pervades as STRFKR rocks the Phoenix Hotel at "Summertime Radness." Could be pretty exciting, if you ask me. 601 Eddy Street, 12 p.m., $17-25

STREET FESTIVAL: In its 39th year, the 2015 Union Street Festival now includes craft beer and wine tasting pavilions plus two stages of live music, plus fashion shows featuring clothing, jewelry and fashions from Union Street area merchants, and a whole lot of drunk Marina guys and gals spilling out of house parties (though the outdoor drinking, these days, is confined to beer gardens). This event also takes place on Saturday. Union Street from Gough to Steiner, 10 a.m., Free
