A BART police officer found a body on the tracks at Richmond Station just after 1 a.m. this morning, CBS5 reports .
The person, who has been identified as male, was pronounced dead at the scene after fire and medical personnel arrived. This was right at the end of service, we're told. According to police the man was struck by a train, but the rest is unclear. "We're fairly certain he was struck by a train and our detectives are reviewing video to see if we can capture how he ended up on the track point," BART police Lieutenant Aaron Ledford told SFist. The man had no identification and that police would review train and station video for more information.
