The San Francisco Fire Department has managed to contain a three-alarm fire that spread to two buildings on Saturday afternoon.
According to a fire dispatcher, at 4:11 p.m., crews were called to the area of 15th and Church Streets, on reports of a fire.

By 4:24 p.m., the blaze had been escalated to three alarms and, according to NBC Bay Area, at least 85 firefighters were on the scene to battle the flames.
By 5:20 p.m. the firefighters triumphed, NBC reports, controlling the blaze that had spread to a second building.
At publication time, no injuries had been reported. Mission Local reports that “it looks like no one was harmed just a cat that needed some oxygen.”
In any case, drivers are urged to avoid the area, as emergency vehicles continue to block nearby streets.
