The U.S. Geological Survey promised that there would be aftershocks following the 6.0 magnitude earthquake that hit Napa early Sunday, and they weren't kidding: so far Tuesday morning, there have been at least four aftershocks in the same area where Sunday's quake struck.

A 3.9-magnitude aftershock struck about two miles northwest of American Canyon at 5:33 a.m. today and a 2.7-magnitude quake was reported two minutes later west of American Canyon. Residents of the Outer Sunset (at least, the people who work at my coffee place and I) felt the former one.

Then, there was a 2.8-magnitude quake at 6:12 a.m., followed by a 3.0-magnitude aftershock at 6:45 a.m.

No damage has been reported as a result of any of this morning's quakes.

According to the USGS, there's a 25% chance that we'll experience another "strong and potentially damaging aftershock" this week. Those weren't either, but were a good reminder that we're not out of the woods yet.

Did you feel any of the shaking, or are you so paranoid these days that you head for the doorway when a large truck passes? If you legitimately felt the aftershocks, hit the USGS"s Did You Feel It? map first with your experience, then let us know.
