"My Sunday Was Better Than Yours!!!!" begins the caption to the above video posted by Instagram user the_ssnoopy_show. I can only assume that he's referring to the thrill he or she (who am I kidding, this is a he) got from watching what Mission Mission identified as "an early 2000′s Camaro" doing doughnuts in the middle of a packed Golden Gate Bridge.

According to KRON4's Stanley Roberts, this it the first time in the history of the Golden Gate Bridge that a sideshow has taken place on its span. But, given the success of these scofflaws, one might suspect that it will not be the last.

According to Roberts, 911 dispatchers first heard about the doughnut-spinning sportscar at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, but by the time CHP forces arrived, the culprits were long gone.

"The drivers knew to avoid the Bridge cameras, and for some reason always appeared to be one step ahead of law enforcement, maybe through the use of police scanners," Roberts says, clearly a not a fan of the Fast and Furious series when it crosses over into real life.

CHP are investigating the incident, Roberts says, but that is unlikely to quell the ebullience of the_ssnoopy_show, who continued his video's caption with the following:

#BayBridges6 #StreetActions!!!! #HyphyMuscle Combined n Hosted Us A Great Fucking Weekend n ALL that Came Out Made It Live!!!! Can't Wait 2 Go Back... With My Fucking CAR😩😩😩... Still Had A Blast Thou Bro's,Thank Y'all 4 All The Love,The Respect IT'S ALL MUTUAL!!!! #Bay2La #La2the Bay!!!!!! I Love Our Dealings!!!!

Are these remarks a reference to the "orchestrated multiple sideshow event" that hit the East Bay Sunday night? Your guess is as good as ours.
