On Tuesday, a group from New York is throwing an innovative sort of party, for the kinds of people who would rather get their groove on with their morning coffee than, say, go for a jog. Or sleep in. Yes, it's a morning dance party that starts at 8 a.m.
It's called DAYBREAKER, and it's happening at Audio in SoMa on June 10. Tickets are $15-$20, and the deal is this:
- No booze
- Philz coffee
- DJs and live music
- Smoothies
- Dancing robots
- A plethora of neon jellyfish
So, you got that? It's a 2-hour, one-off, morning dance party that you can go to on your way to work. Is that weird? Yes, but it may be awesome too.
The people behind this already tried the idea out in New York. They're based in Williamsburg.
