Tonight's event might have you saying "You remind me of the babe! The babe with the power!" But this evening, the labyrinth we're talking about isn't full of Muppets, and the power isn't voodoo, it's yoga.

Every Tuesday at 6:15, enjoy Yoga on the Labyrinth, atop Grace Cathedral's lovely and iconic indoor labyrinth. Downward dog on a world-renowned tourist attraction? You got it.

"All are welcome!" event organizers say, noting that some participants "are young, others old. Some have practiced yoga for years while others are just trying yoga for the first time. Some are are Jewish, Christian Buddhist or Muslim while others are agnostic and atheist. Many are San Francisco residents, but Yoga on the Labyrinth draws students from the world over."

So, basically, expect a large, mixed crowd of folks ready for a gentle hatha yoga class led by yoga and meditation instructor Darren Main. Participants are urged to dress warmly, as "even on a warm night, the cathedral is quite chilly." You also need to bring your own mat, and if you're a prop user, you need to bring those, too.

Each week a different musician is invited to play for the class as they practice, so be prepared for singing bowls, Indian chants, tribal instruments, and more as you stretch and relax. True, it's no Bowie in a wig, but it'll do.
