Second verse, same as the first. Google employees trying to make their way to work today were slowed down by a group of protesters in the city's impossible Mission District. This time, though, the local protesters were upset over a specific incident: the owner-move-in eviction by a member of the Google hive. The eviction, it seems, resulted in the displacement of two teachers [update: according to 48 Hills, it's just one third-grade teacher], among others.
Freelance journalist Julia Wong reports:
To be clear, Jack Halprin was targeted at his home because it is also home of other families, whom he's evicting. #googlebus
