A shelter-in-place has been ordered on Scott Street between Sacramento and Clay due to police activity. SFPD requests that you stay inside with the windows closed.
According to the San Francisco Department of Emergency, "If you are in this location, please take immediate shelter here or in a readily accessible location."

Update: According to ABC 7, a "suspicious package" triggered the alert:

All the streets around Alta Plaza Park are closed including including Clay Street between Scott and Divisadero and the intersection of Scott and Sacramento. According to CBS SF, "The object was reported in the 2100 block of Scott Street, near Alta Plaza Park, at about 10:35 a.m."
UPDATE 2:05: Shelter-in-place lifted. Via Alert SF: "The shelter-in-place order has been lifted for Scott St. between Sacramento and Clay - the situation is rendered safe."
