It doesn't get better in Vallejo, and now we're hearing the awful story of a woman who was shot and killed in a "gun battle" that erupted outside a show at a Vallejo venue on Friday.
The headliner that night was Lil Scrappy, well known for appearing on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and he was doing a show at the Foley Cultural Center, as Bay City News reports. A gunfight broke out just before midnight in the parking lot outside the venue in which two women ended up shot, one of them fatally. It's believed the women got in the middle of the fight and were not the intended targets. As of Saturday, no suspects were yet in custody.
The deceased victim's name has not been released, but her age was given: She was 34.
Scrappy has been on a tour of smallish towns like Vallejo, and as TMZ reported the other week, he's being blamed for a trashed hotel room in McAllen, Texas to the tune of $2,000, which he's refusing to pay.
