Curious: A 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound in his hand after having some sort of exchange with two male suspects just after 10 p.m. Sunday near Post and Buchanan Streets.

We're assuming the assailants were known to the victim, but according to the official report, via CBS, this was not a robbery and police are looking for leads.

The victim was approached by "two male suspects who said something to him, then one of the suspects fired three shots, hitting him once in the hand."

Three shots and just a hit to the hand... also kind of curious.
