Hi Fashion is a duo out of L.A. consisting of Jen DM and Rick Gradone. Legend has it they met in a gay bar in New York when Rick hit on Jen, thinking she was a man. The rest is history, and they originally named their band "Hi-Fashion $5.99," but dropped the price for simplicity's sake.
