Four shooting suspects were arrested at a 76 gas station yesterday afternoon just ten minutes after they allegedly lit up a residential street in the Bayview with gunfire. The incident started around 4:15 p.m. yesterday near the intersection of Revere Avenue and Jennings Street, when two men hopped out of a gold-colored Dodge pickup truck and fired off about ten shots at a male and female victim.

One neighbor who said she knew the female victim believes the suspects were out to get someone else. "Not her," Amber Hall told KTVU, "because she is like the neighborhood mom. She's too nice to everybody." Both victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital and their conditions were unknown as of yesterday evening.

The suspects, meanwhile, had hopped back in the truck and also headed in the direction of S.F. General. Police officers spotted the vehicle ten minutes two hours [see update below] after the shooting about six blocks north of the hospital getting gas at the 76 station at Potrero Avenue and 17th Street. SFPD followed the truck to Ninth and Brannan in SoMa and made their arrest. Three suspects were seen being handcuffed on the sidewalk while the fourth was held in a squad car.

Although no one reported shots being fired back at the truck during yesterday's incident, it had bullet holes in it, presumably from some earlier shootout. KTVU has the video report.

There was another shooting on the same Bayview block less than a week ago. On Monday, a bank robber in Burlingame was busted about 45 minutes later while filling up his getaway vehicle in South San Francisco.

Update: On Thursday afternoon, the Examiner reported the two victims are currently in critical condition. Their updated report also says the men suspects were found about two hours later, rather than 10 minutes as previously reported by KTVU.
