On Tuesday night, at 54-year-old man was walking across Lombard and Steiner streets when he was struck by a car. The driver of the car, apparently a horrible human being, sped off and left the man with a life-threatening head injury and a broken leg, according to Sgt. Dennis Toomer.

Sadly, there's no description of the vehicle and[Update] Police are now looking for a tan sedan in connection with the accident.
