Photog David Gallagher snapped this shot and provided the following description of the scene:

Just before 5pm Friday a woman sitting on Pier 45 behind the Musée Mécanique fell into the water. She was clinging to the pilings screaming hysterically. She was thrown a life ring and was towed across by firefighters from Station 28. Police and fire rescue boats along with 2 jetski rescue units also assisted. She was in the water about 15 minutes.
