The scrappy kids at the Academy of Art are putting their semester's work on display starting tonight at the Palace of Fine Arts for the 2013 Spring Show. There's an opening reception tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., and works on display will be from 21 different art and design disciplines.

If you miss the fun tonight, the work will remain up through June 5, and the gallery's open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding Memorial Day.

Courtesy shuttles from the downtown campus at 79 New Montgomery will run daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., out to the Palace of Fine Arts.

Also, on Saturday, June 1, there will be an all-day open house for prospective students with the opportunity to meet with faculty and get portfolio feedback.
