If all you ate was pizza and all you drank was Tecate all weekend, between the sunny Sunday and extra-sunny Bay to Breakers, you might be in the mood for something a little more sophisticated for your Monday dinner. Or, maybe it's someone's birthday or maybe you just want to treat yo self. In any case, there's a one-time whole goat dinner tonight at Boxing Room that sounds kind of special.
Boxing Room chef Justin Simoneaux is teaming up with chef Brian West of Risibisi in Petaluma, and includes five courses with beer and wine pairings. Dishes include goat cracklin's, smoked goat ham, goat-neck tortellini, and a roasted "goatchetta." See the whole menu here.
It's $100 per person, which includes beverage pairings, tax, and gratuity, and the event is a benefit for the Agricultural Institute of Marin and the S.F. Food Bank.
