As discussed last month, we haven't seen the last of embattled used bookseller Adobe Books, which is getting ousted from its longtime home on 16th Street to make way for a Jack Spade store. It will be resurrected at 3130 24th Street, near Shotwell, in July, and today we learn that they're hosting a party this Saturday, May 18, in the new space.

It's called Adobe Marketplace, and will feature food and drink, music, and vendors ranging from Cool Try (clothing and accessories), to the Bold Italic, as well as a number of small publishers and zines. A portion of all sales will go toward helping the bookstore reopen. The party goes from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
