There's something in the air today, and it's not just hot-weather optimism: wildfires in the North Bay have brought smoke and a pleasant campfire-y aroma into the city today.

Hundreds of firefighters continue to combat multiple wildfire in Napa and Sonoma counties, including one that has burned 125 acres east of Healdsburg and is 60 percent contained. A fire that burned 75 acres near the Silverado Trail outside Yountville has been fully contained. High winds contributed to the spread of the fires and prompted a red-flag advisory for fire danger in the North and East Bay hills, but the winds have leveled off today, helping with firefighters' efforts.

An onshore breeze later today is expected to waft the smoke inland from the city, but for now, the heat paired with the smokey smell is taking us straight back to summer camp and s'mores.
