A woman watching TV in her home on Cameron Way in the Bayview became the victim of a messy home invasion last weekend. The 31-year-old victim was attacked in her apartment by three unknown men wielding a bottle of BBQ sauce.

The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning after the woman heard a noise inside her apartment. When the three suspects decided the jig was up, one of them "took a bottle of barbecue sauce and poured it on the victim" according to police.

The victim was physically OK, aside from what must be some messy stains. Other than the sauce, nothing was stolen from the home. No arrests have been made and police have no released a description of the suspects, who have probably licked all the evidence off their fingers by now.
