For the first time in its three-plus-decade history, San Francisco's Gay Men's Chorus is joining forces with the cast of Beach Blanket Babylon for two nights of rollicking, campy wonderment. The show is called "Snow White and Her Merry Men," and as longtime cast member Stephen Brennan explains, "For almost all of the 38 years that Beach Blanket has been going on, the story has been about Snow White looking for her Prince Charming." So, it will be the same here, only there will be 300 singing gay men on stage with her.
Along with some enormous hats, they promise "an extravagant, hilarious spectacle that can only be described as pure, over the top entertainment."
The show happens next week, March 25 and 26, at Davies Symphony Hall, and you can get tickets here.
