This Saturday, D.I.Y. demigoddess Kelly Malone will host an evening of beer drinking and whimsical carnival games at Speakeasy Beer's rad new taproom in the Bayview. "Why would I go to the Bayview?" Your friends will ask, somewhat close-mindedly. "Because there will be beer, bands and barbecue," you will reply, shooting down their pretentiousness in the process.
The prohibition-esque carnival actually takes place throughout the brewery as well as the brewery bar and the new taproom (which Malone also designed). As far as we know, no one has ever played a game of skeeball over at Anchor, so this would be a good opportunity to one-up your fellow beer nerds. There will be carnival fare, food served from trucks, a photobooth and a mobile kissing booth. If you're the more practical type you can also get your nails done or your beard trimmed whilst drinking beer.
Cover is a $5 donation, but for 28 bucks you can get yourself a limited edition handmade beer coozie and free beer all evening. Added bonus: Kelly promises there will be "Babes everywhere!" and we have no reason to doubt this.
