Firefighters and police are on the scene at 5885 Hollis in Emeryville, an office building used by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, after a bomb threat was called in this morning. The threat was received at around 7 a.m. Officials would not elaborate.
The building also houses the lab's Joint BioEnergy Institute, which, according to the the Lawrence Berkeley Lab website, works to "advance the development of next generation biofuels."
