Officials are trying to identify a body found near Fort Baker earlier this morning. Bay City News reports the man's body was pulled from the water by the Coast Guard on the Marin county side of the bay around 8 a.m. this morning.

The man reportedly had no ID on him and officials were unable to match him to any missing person reported before Sunday afternoon. Officials have yet to release a description of the victim. No word yet on the suspected cause of death, but the case is still under investigation.

SFist will update as we know more.
