A 55-year-old man was arrested at SFO last week after passing 100 plastic-covered pellets filled with cocaine, which he was trying to smuggle to Japan in his stomach. Border control agents became suspicious of him, maybe because he started moaning and clutching his tummy filled with about 2.5 pounds worth of these two-inch pellets and could barely walk properly.

Emmanuel Amankwa was pulled aside by U.S. Customs and Border Control agents during a routine check, and they became suspicious because of how he was "walking and talking," and ended up taking him first to a hospital, where he passed the 100 cocaine pellets, and then into Homeland Security custody. Amankwa's intention was clearly to get on the plane and either pass the pellets in the lavatory (gross), and then ingest them again before landing (grosser!), or just pass them and try his luck at Customs in Tokyo.

Our favorite part about CBS's report on the matter, though, is Ken Bastida saying, "It's how MUCH COKE he had INSIDE OF HIM that's so hard to believe."
