Before the SF plays Detroit in Games 3 and 4—and before you drown yourself in cheap beer and delicious nachos—do yourself a favor by enjoying one of these fancy cocktails. Ame's "The Perfect Cain" and Bluestem Brasserie's "Orange & Black" are perfect libations to get you in the mood for this weekend's final (fingers crossed) games.
First, the Perfect Cain in honor of Matt's perfect game. It's made like this:
In a mixing glass combine all ingredients with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a coupe glass.
1 ½ oz Breaking and Entering Bourbon (made locally in the bay area)
½ oz Campari
½ oz Simple Syrup
Juice of ¾ Fresh Lemon
1 Teaspoon of Orange flower Water
Egg White
The Perfect cain, running $14, even comes topped with a Giants logo. Rad.
Next up, the "Orange & Black" was created by Bluestem Brasserie's co-founders, Adam and Stacy Jed, who whipped up the cocktail as soon as the Giants clinched the pennant. It comes with tequila, cointreau, house-made spiced syrup, fresh squeezed lime, dash of mezcal, and black sea salt rim. Oh, and it costs $10.
