One person is suffering from minor injuries after running what appears to be a luxury sedan (or at least a Nissan with upgrades) over the a cement barrier and into the shopping cart corral in the parking lot of the Marina Safeway.
While not nearly as exciting as say, a Porsche getting stuck in wet cement, Bay City News reports someone in an SFFD fire engine actually witnessed the incident happen around 10:30 a.m. this morning.
No word yet on what made the driver think they could just use the popular waterfront grocery store and pickup spot as their own personal drive-thru olive bar, but we'll be sure to update as we learn more.
