A motorcyclist, described only as a man in his 30s, was killed Saturday night around 9:40 p.m. when his motorcycle crashed into a light pole at Kezar and Martin Luther King drives in Golden Gate Park. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, up in Marin last week, another motorcyclist was seriously injured when he lost control going around a curve on 101 in San Rafael, hitting the center divide and getting ejected off the freeway. The man fell 50 feet down from the elevated freeway and landed on a stopped car on Second Street in San Rafael. This all happened around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. A dog he was carrying in a pouch was also ejected and found dead on the freeway. The man's condition is not currently known. Update: The man was listed in critical condition when he was admitted, but his injuries are not life-threatening. But they sound like they hurt.
