A recent sexual groping incident in Palo Alto might be tied to a similar sexual battery case that occurred Aug. 20 near downtown Palo Alto. According to CBS 5, a woman in her 30s was walking on the sidewalk between Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus on Orchard Lane "when an unknown male suspect stepped in front of her and used his hand to grab one of the victim’s breasts over her clothing."

The victim, who wasn't physically injured, called 911 right away.

The victim has been described as an "East Indian male about 30-years-old, wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt with the hood up over his head." He is somewhere around "5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build."

This incident is similar to the one on August 20 where a similar man grabbed a woman's "buttocks underneath her dress and fled the area on foot."
