At around 3:45 p.m. on Saturday on the corner of Third Street and Gilman Avenue, an 18-year-old man was shot twice by two assailants. Just after the brazen afternoon shooting, according to SF Appeal, '[t]he suspects were seen fleeing into a home on the 1000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue, and police immediately surrounded the house."
Police soon thereafter entered the home and found the two men, arrested them at once. Also found inside the house? Guns. "Several" of them, in fact.
Anyway, the victim is reportedly in "stable condition with non-life threatening injuries." Police are considering this a gang-related crime.
