Yesterday, over a dozen people charged in connection with last November's rowdy protests on the campus of UC Berkeley received a stay-away order issued by the Alameda County Superior Court. According to Berkeleyside, the order prohibits the arraigned protesters from stepping foot on all UC property except when going to and from class or work on campus.

While it's unclear whether the stay-away order applies to all of the protestors charged yesterday, English Professor Celeste Langan is among those charged with resisting arrest and remaining on the scene of a riot. Prof. Langan, you may recall, was the focus of YouTube videos that went viral after the protests. In the videos a UC Berkeley police officer can be seen grabbing her hair and throwing her to the ground. Langan pled not guilty to those two charges in court on Friday.
