A little less than a month after a 5-alarm blaze broke out in the Western Addition, several community groups have banded together to lend a hand to those affected with a benefit event featuring booze, music and eats from range of neighborhood establishments.
Beyond the Blaze happens this Friday night, January 20th at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church at Turk and Lyon Streets from 6:30 - 10 p.m. Your $15 ticket ($12 if you buy ahead) grants access to $3 beer and wine from Speakeasy Brewery and Green Barrel, with free bites from Nopa and Bi-Rite. Entertainment will be provided by local acts like the Gaucho Gypsy Jazz band, Even Taylor, Conspiracy of Beards and The Sundance Kids.
Tickets are available here and pitching in 15 bucks will surely be worth it for all the warm fuzzies you'll be feeling come Saturday.
