A pair of U.S. citizens arriving at SFO from Mexico on December 29th were busted with $500,000 worth of cocaine and crystal meth in their luggage, thus ensuring at least one methhead somewhere in the Bay Area could actually stick to his "no doing meth in 2012" resolution.
According to Bay City News the two young drug mules: Pedro Daniel Rodriguez, 21, and Yuniba Elizabeth Cordero, 22, were spotted when U.S. Customs agents x-rayed their luggage. The 2.24 kilos of cocaine and the 6.5 kilos of crystal meth were hidden in false sides in the crazy kids' suitcases. The pair, who we like to imagine were going sell all the drugs and escape the game so that they could grow old together, were turned over to ICE for processing.
