Near popular paragliding spot Mussel Rock on Saturday, police arrested a man who was shooting at air gliders from his balcony. Authorities were called to the area after paragliding fliers reported "four or five shots" being fired at them. Bay Area News Group reports:
The paragliders went looking for whoever shot at them and spotted a man on a nearby balcony, police said. One of the officers on scene, a SWAT team sniper, managed to locate two suspects. Alex Attard, 38, of Daly City, and Edward Amatori, 49, of San Francisco, were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
No reason why exactly the pair shot at the innocent fliers. Not very nice. Men. Ugh. Anyway, no one was injured, thankfully. Both suspects now sit in the clink at the San Mateo County Main Jail.
