All of tonight's events make us wish we were home in San Francisco right now (instead of staying with family in the Midwestern suburbs for Christmas). So, if you go to any of these events, tell us how they were, either in the comments or via email.
FILM/PERFORMANCE: Peaches Christ hosts the brand new Heeeeeeere’s Christmas! THE SHINING Holiday Spectacular, featuring a crazy Christmas extravaganza screening of THE SHINING and the "Torrance Family Christmas Review" stage-show hosted by Jack, Wendy, and Danny Torrance and starring Peaches Christ and the Midnight Mass Players. (6:30 p.m., Castro Theatre, 429 Castro Street)
DANCE: Get your Holiday Bollywood on and celebrate the last night the legendary Non Stop Bhangra will be held at the Rickshaw Stop. They promise they'll be introducing a new chapter of the club night in the new year, so stay tuned. (9 p.m., Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street)
SOUND: This event sounds really cool. Unsilent Night, an original composition by Phil Kline, was written specifically to be heard outdoors in the month of December. "Each participant gets one of four tracks of music in the form of a cassette, CD, or Mp3. Together all four tracks comprise Unsilent Night." Pretty trippy. Tell us how it was. (7:30 p.m., Dolores Park, 18th and Dolores)
