The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition announced today their first-ever Family Biking Series, a three-part series of (free!) classes that will help you and your runny-nosed clan bike city streets better, safer. The three courses will cover such topics as riding while pregnant when you should start pedaling with your baby, and how to teach your rugrats to bike to school.
"More and more San Francisco families are embracing bicycling as a smart and easy way to make raising a family in this city easier and more enjoyable," says Kit Hodge, Deputy Director of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, a mom, and one of the series’ teachers. "We're thrilled to be able to offer a family biking class program designed to help you spend more quality time with your children, get you around the city with less hassle and keep you looking great in your favorite pair of jeans."
