FILM: The Roxie continues its "block-busting, face-melting" TV Noir series with Legends of Horror Go Noir, a double-feature of "never-seen ragers and chillers," featuring horror heavy-hitters such as Bela Lugosi, Vincent Price, and Boris Karloff, among others. It's certainly the perfect night for it! (6:15, 8, and 9:50 p.m., Roxie Theater, 3117 16th Street)
POLITICS/MUSIC: Although early registration to the big SF Mayoral Candidates Forum has closed, you can show up at the Fillmore at 6 p.m. for a chance to get in (or better yet, line up early). The candidates will be discussing issues relating to music and nightlife, along with opening remarks by Lyrics Born and Supervisor Scott Wiener and live performances by Bob Mould and Zoe Keating. (6 to 9 p.m., The Fillmore, 1805 Geary Blvd)
ART: SF Art Institute presents Geoff Manaugh, author of BLDGBLOG, an online publication containing interviews, book reviews, and researched facts focusing on architecture, landscape, and the built environment, in conversation with Jeannene Przyblyski, who organized and co-curated "Landscapes of Quarantine," a design studio and exhibition at New York's Storefront for Art and Architecture exploring isolated spaces. (7:30 p.m., San Francisco Art Institute Lecture Hall, 800 Chestnut Street)
