Bay City News reports police are searching for a dark green hatchback involved in a hit-and-run incident on Silver Avenue near Elmira Street around 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The boy was crossing in the crosswalk ahead of family member when he was hit by the 80s-model dark green hatchback with a missing passenger side mirror. The driver, described as a Hispanic man left the scene and the boy was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
