Today in fun crime news: A man was sleeping in the living room of his Sunset district home early yesterday morning when he heard a loud crash in his bathroom. It turned out some dude, possibly high on drugs, had fallen through a window into the man's bathtub, and was found lying there, possibly unconscious? (The story is unclear about the state of the thief, but says there was time for police to arrive and arrest him.)
This all happened around 3:15 a.m. yesterday on the 1200 block of La Playa Street, and the man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. We're assuming that was a crack/meth pipe. Anyway. Good work, silly robber!
